Chester

Chester passed away on Christmas Day.  He had been sick for two years.  He was so uncomfortable and cried at night.  He was always thirsty and I couldn't keep him in during the day even thought it was in the 20's outside.  I think his body could no longer regulate temperature.  I adopted Chester from Animal Control in 2000 and he live a nice long life which could have ended very quickly.  We'll miss my boy.

Meet Samantha

It's been a year and I still miss Sammy terribly. There was an article in the paper the other day about the number of animals that are being put down because there are so few homes. Woody and I went to DeKalb Animal Control today and adopted a new Kitty.... Meet Samantha.

Jessie Cat

Here is my beautiful Jessie Cat. She came into my life when a neighbor didn't want to take her when she moved. I was thrilled to take her in as I had seen her many times sitting in the window. My neighbor (whom I didn't know well) had a Manx kitten and Jessie was so mean to her little kitten. Come to find out Jessie was a fighter and very territorial. I'm glad she claimed my territory. She decided my husband was her person and she loved him more then me. This was okay as she was the best kitty and couple could ever have asked for. She talked to us and followed my husband around the house. I think she thought she was a dog! Jessie passed away over four years ago and we miss her very much.

Milly Cat

This is Milly cat. She is petite and beautiful although a little skittish are around people. She doesn't like to us touch her yet she always wants to be close by. When I wake up in the morning she is sleeping in the bed, but jumps down as soon as she realizes I'm awake. Milly came to us after our beloved Jessie Cat passed away. W got her from Persian and Siamese rescue.
